Goodwood Hotel

Stayed for a gig at Wembley. Clean and easy access. Nice staff. £80 a night.

Stayed for 1 night and it was a decent place to just sleep. Carpet had clearly been recently replaced. Sheets were clean and room was tidy. Bathroom was shared but while shabby around the edges was fine otherwise. The man at reception was polite and chatted with us on arrival. Unexpectedly had to put down £10 cash for key deposit which was not advertised in advance. The main downside was the lock to our room did not work properly and my friend and I decided to put a makeshift barrier up to keep the room secure overnight. It's a decent room for a cheap price. You get what you pay for.

I was lowk scared to stay here cause of the reviews, but my room was exactly what was offered, and was clean and secure, in a good place in euston. I didn't try leave my luggage and instead just left it with left luggage inside of euston station, which worked well, and there are pleanty of other options for leaving luggage within the area :)

Cheap and cheerful, clean room, clean bathroom, comfy bed. Window rattled a bit at night but nothing bad. Other reviews said they had to leave a £10 cash deposit and leave their key every time they left the building but neither of those were asked of me

I stayed for two nights and honestly had a much better experience than I expected after reading the reviews. My biggest worries were the cleanliness and comfort of the room, but everything turned out fine. The room was clean, cosy, and warm, with a TV, a sink with a mirror, and a kettle with tea and coffee, which was a nice touch. The staff were also very nice and helpful and the shared toilet was clean throughout my stay. The only thing that felt a bit uncomfortable was the shared shower, but for a short stay it was totally manageable. For one or two nights it does the job, though for a longer visit I’d probably upgrade to a room with a private bathroom. Overall, for London standards, it’s good value for money. I'd consider staying here again for my next trip.

Excellent location and very helpful staff. Good value for short stay in London near Kings Cross and St Pancreas

It is indeed a rather small hotel, though for a city trip it was great. It's very close to King's Cross, about 10 minutes and 5 minutes from Russel Square. The rooms are very small, but for a two star hotel that's completely fine. Our room was located away from the street, so it was very quiet. Staff at the reception was very friendly. All in all in that price range the hotel is totally fine and I would book it again.

This is a 4 star hostel, not a 2 star hotel. I think changing the name would alleviate some confusion. The hotel and rooms are clean but small. Each floor (3-4 rooms) shares a bathroom. The bottom floors have small stall showers. Everything is small, like cruise ship small. There is a small sink in each room, that is not large enough to fill water bottles without using a small cup. The location is fantastic. You can get to pretty much everywhere quickly using the tube and busses. I would not stay here with kids. For us, a couple in our 30s, it was perfect.
